Chess Center Memberships

C&O Family Chess Center offers memberships for individuals and families 
interested in chess education, competition, and support of chess 
activities in this area.  Benefits of membership will include discounts 
on lessons, tournament entry fees, books and equipment, and regular USCF 
Memberships.  Members will also have free borrowing privileges for the 
center’s extensive chess library (more than 200 books, magazines, and 
other materials), and free club ratings.  In addition there will be 
events for members only, such as (possibly) master classes, advanced 
classes on DVD, and the annual club championship and barbeque.  

Of course all members may still play at the Lakeforest Mall club for 
free and will be issued a key to the equipment storage locker if they 
wish.  

Scholastic Membership Dues (K-8):  $40 per year

Adult Membership Dues:  $60 per year (seniors $40)

Family Membership Dues: $80 per year

Memberships will run for the calendar	year.  Memberships paid after 
March will be pro-rated as follows:

   Purchase Date April-June: S-$35; A- $50; F-$65

   Purchase Date July-Sept.: S-$30; A- $40; F-$50

   Purchase after Oct. (includes next full year): S-$50; A- $70; F-$90
